A public boat transports people, commodities and dreams between communities on the edge of the Tamshiyacu-Tahuayo conservation area in the Peruvian Amazon. As the main vessel in or out of the area, its schedule sets a rhythm for the longing, loss and uncertainty triggered by loved ones’ departures and returns.
